Are Cause Sponsorships a Cause for Concern in NASCAR?.

Found this interesting. I personally feel like it is not a wise investment of the “cause’s” money to be branding on a racecar. Would love to see some firm ROI statistics on something like that though because it is an interesting option. Obviously there are some compelling stats that hopefully are not outlier cases (like tweeting during the Daytona race), but I would think a non-profit can’t afford to bank on the intangible ROI gains whereas a company like Tide still makes money off having sponsored a car 20 years ago.
