We’d also like to send a shout out to Ernie Saxton Motorsports Sponsorship Marketing for their AWESOME newsletter. It was because of this newsletter that we found out about this fabulous opportunity! Thanks Ernie (and team)! Here is a link to their site: http://www.saxtonsponsormarket.com/

Look no further. You’ve got him right here!

Ha!

We are competing in a new way this winter. Competing to have Champion (Federal Mogul) sponsor our racing operation this season.

We funded a video production and now we are excited to invite everyone to vote for us. Check out the video and vote here:

The rules allow for one vote per day, per person. So we will be encouraging everyone we know to help out and help boost us to the top. But also – anyone who votes gets a chance to win some cool stuff from Champion too. Finally, Champion gets lots of traffic and visibility for their brand. It’s win-win-win!

We’ll post more info over the next few weeks to keep everyone engaged!

I have seen that as part of the instructions for the lifters AND the timing chain, to soak them in oil. This sounds like a great idea. I’ll be finding a clean container and some good oil and planning a good soak for both these parts after the heads arrive. Fun stuff. I think tips like these will help ensure a smooth break-in process and a successful duration of the engine.

Great article. Lots of relevant stuff with great pictures for our 455 build. I am going to use the pushrod idea to make sure my lower dipstick tube doesn’t put unnecessary pressure on the windage tray. Good stuff.
